Klimamichaniki is an engineering consultancy and construction company founded in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1984, originally as an air-conditioning installation provider. It now covers all aspects of HVAC systems, including A/C & cooling systems, heat pumps, heating, solar thermal, industrial & commercial refrigeration, geothermal, and photovoltaic (PV) systems. The company has been involved in a wide array of projects, both small and large scale, completing approximately 350-400 per year. Klimamichaniki engages in renowned HVAC projects both nationally and internationally, including work on the largest tourist resorts, manufacturing plants, shopping malls, department stores, hospitals and clinics, bank chains, museums, supermarkets, and office headquarters of multinational and local companies. Since 2022, the company has embarked on a new direction towards digitalization, focusing on Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) and the in-house development of innovative AI-based services. It has secured funding in two Open Calls with the ARCTUS (DIH cluster) and PreMaCOOL (EOSC DIH) experiments for the development of energy-related AI models and has been involved in the META BUILD project.
