•    Cost-Benefit-Risk Analysis of projects, notably RES, interconnectors, demand response, gas-power hybrid boilers, flexible generation assets, power-to-gas units, energy storage projects, etc. Artelys works at the international level (e.g. interconnections between Western Europe and Maghreb countries, geothermal energy in Nicaragua, etc.) and at the local level (region, island, or cities), integrating environmental considerations into the analysis (pollutant emissions, land use, energy efficiency, etc.). 

•    Impact Assessment of market design proposals (e.g. capacity markets, market integration, tariff structure, etc.) on energy market prices, stakeholders’ revenues, and customer bills, and of environmental policies (CO2 cost/quotas, RES support schemes, etc.). 

•    Prospective analysis of the evolution of the energy mix: optimisation and in-depth analysis of the energy mix, meeting a given security of supply criterion, maximum CO2 emissions and/or minimum share of renewable energy.

Today, Artelys performs 30+ energy consulting studies every year based on the use of the Artelys Crystal suite.
