A key dissemination opportunity was the SDEWES Project Exchange Event, where META BUILD was presented during a 3-hour session on Friday, October 10, 2025. The event featured 40 showcased projects and was chaired by Prof. Goran Krajačić (University of Zagreb), with the META BUILD presentation delivered by Mario Mihetec (University of Zagreb).
META BUILD was introduced through a general project presentation, covering its overall vision, objectives, framework requirements (FR), reference models (RM), and planned technologies, with a focus on building types and system-level concepts rather than specific technical results.
The session was noted for generating strong interest among attendees, with organizers reporting that the showcased projects “aroused a lot of interest” and that “many were interested in hearing about them.” META BUILD in particular attracted engagement during the exchange format, with participants expressing curiosity and asking follow-up questions about the project’s goals and approach.
