About Front Runner #5 

Front Runner #5 is located in Bolzano, Italy, and aims to renovate two buildings within the historical district of the small village of Bolbeno, in northern Italy. This project will demonstrate how renovations, a common practice in Italy, can effectively promote decarbonisation, even within the constraints of stringent Italian regulations governing the renovation of historical buildings. If the pilot proves successful, it will showcase optimal refurbishment strategies and the most effective technologies for advancing decarbonisation in similar settings.
